Resident Evil fans will be amazed to see the latest depiction of Nemesis, one of the series’ most memorable monsters, in a picture made out of salt!
Gamers who have played Capcom’s 1999 PlayStation classic Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (and to a lesser extent those who have seen the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse) will certainly remember the humanoid monster known as Nemesis (though he’s never actually called Nemesis by anyone in the game) who stalks the game’s protagonist Jill Valentine as well as other members of the Raccoon City Police Department’s S.T.A.R.S unit (they’re a group of elite cops for the uninitiated).
Artist Bashir Sultani (Sult-ani, get it?) has really done an amazing job making this picture, with ‘wow’ being the only word that came to mind when I first saw the video of him making it. How he figured out what salts to use where for certain parts of Nemesis’ face really is nothing short of genius. As a joke, Sultani should have made a speech bubble next to Nemesis that said “S.T.A.R.S” in it, but I suppose that would have taken away from the awesomeness of his work.
It’s a real shame when Sultani wipes it all away at the end of the video; talk about adding in-salt to injury!
