The power of music has always been underestimated. We all just tend to think “whatever” for the most part, but we’ve all been slaves to the rhythm from time to time once a real party starter gets going. It’s usual girls who get into a song to squeal in utter excitement and head to the dance floor, so fellas, take advantage of this and woo her with the songs the DJ’s playing just for you to score! (Well, not really.)
1. ‘Sexyback’ by Justin Timberlake
Chicks have always loved Justin Timberlake, especially now that he’s released a new song after seven years without crooning. All you have to do is wait until the song starts playing (if it plays at all!), and when it does, go up to the girl and say “Justin Timberlake doesn’t need to bring sexy back, because it’s been right here all along!” (I won’t lie, I was just trying to plug my pickup line, hehe…)
2. ‘Billie Jean’ by Michael Jackson
An oldie, but a golden oldie. Two generations of partygoers have sung and danced along to MJ’s great pop hits that still resonate today. Though many of his songs are about girls, ‘Billie Jean’ in particular is arguably his most popular hit and helped MJ create the infamous moonwalk dance many have tried in clubs ever since. Girls love guys who can dance, so if you can pull off this classic dance move, it’ll get her attention.
3. ‘I Gotta Feeling’ by The Black Eyed Peas
Though I still believe BEP suck big time, for some ridiculous reason most peeps love their tunes. All a guy really has to do is say to a girl he’s got a feeling about her. Pretty simple one really.
4. ‘Sexy And I Know It’ by LMFAO
A very catchy song that gets the dance floor going freakin’ off, saying how you’re good looking and know it may come off as douchey, but if you say this about the girl instead, and can shuffle to impress her with your rad dance moves, she might just go for it. Yet again, chicks like guys with confidence, so maybe sing the original lyrics anyway. But whatever you do, just don’t take off your pants and flop your doodle around like in the music video; that’s just nasty.
5. ‘Call Me Maybe’ by Carly Rae Jepsen
You’re hoping to get the girl’s number, and if you sing the chorus to her, she’ll think you’re cute for it and will like the nice use of the song in this context.
6. ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ by Ke$ha
An extremely catchy song that girls seem to like, the fact you’re singing it to her will score you points in itself. But being a nightclub, she might mishear you and think you’re offering her eckies, so don’t be too surprised if she cracks it at you.
7. ‘Sexy Bitch’ by David Guetta
When out scoping girls, sometime their hotness just simply wows you and makes you think, “Fuck, she’s hot!” This song will help convey that message to her. But if you think the girl might get offended if you called her a bitch (even though you meant it as a compliment), then perhaps the more PC “sexy chick” might be better.
8. ‘DJ Got Us Falling In Love’ by Usher
Music helps create a sense of pure euphoria (aided by alcohol, of course), so whenever we see someone we like, you can’t help but be all over them thanks to the disc jockey’s ace tunes. Just hope she doesn’t take the song literately and give the poor, innocent DJ shit if things don’t work out! Talk about hand balling the problem!
