I’ve driven past the Terminus Hotel along Victoria Street in Abbotsford many times, and it was always closed. I kept wondering why the hell a pub on such a great location was shut on a bloody Saturday night. Little did I know at the time that it was having renovations done to it, and boy did they do a good job.
I was invited to their re-opening night on Wednesday August 6th, and got to explore. Being a two-story building, the top floor giving customers a nice view of the hustle and bustle of Victoria Street while eating your dinner. You can get your standard pubs meals like chicken parmas and steaks of course (what kind of pub would it be without those on the menu!), and much more of course.
The highlight as the Terminus is the outdoor beer garden though, plenty of plants giving it that lush, forest-like feel and fresh air that will be definitely be a packed area during the summer. Smokers will particularly enjoy this area when they want a puff.
The Terminus welcomes all sorts, being both a family friendly environment (there were plenty of little kids running around), yet a great place for the grown ups and 20-somethings to have a good drinking session too.
