The Fox Darkroom

One complaint you often hear from photography enthusiasts is that gone are the days of old school black and white photography where you had to develop film using chemicals in the mysterious red darkroom. There’s just something about this process that makes clicking that round button on your camera that much more special. It’s essentially the photography equivilent to music; anyone can download a song, but to go out and buy the album makes it seem extra special.

Photographer Tom Goldner has founded The Fox Darkroom, a photographic studio that has opened in Kensington. A mecca for photography aficionados, this is a place where you can learn all about the traditional methods of photography that bring out the best in a photo. Offering workshops for beginnings wanting to learn about developing photos, learning how to use a camera’s intricate functions and hiring out the darkroom to bring your work to life, if you’ve ever wanted to take truly great photos, head out to Kensington.

For more information on upcoming workshops, head over to The Fox Darkroom website.
